Anyway, I just modeled a Ford FE header flange and I'm working on making it snap onto these (or vice versa, rather): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2053049

What are these things called? I've been trying to find something similar on the bay of E without success, any cheap Chinese versions out there that I can "play" with?

Ah I see cast manifold then into the 1-4. Thanks for the pics!

I think I'm wanting a true tubular manifold.

Will keep tweaking the cad and then try to mock it up some how I think.

I'll have a hunt through some plumbing catalogs to see what bends are available

"Exhaust header modeling system" according to iceengineworks, but I haven't seen any Chinese clones (yet). I'm sure one of us with a 3D printer could print you a set up for the cost of filament, though I'd offer right now, but I haven't quite figured out the most successful way of printing them, yet (plus I think they really need to be in ABS rather than PLA, and I haven't got any ABS filament right now)! Once I have, though..

Or do you mean the seperate parts which are used to weld on the collector?

I was going to use goodfabs for the parts or ss tube. We use both at work for components.
