If the seat is not cut true or the hole not round the nipple taper won't properly seat and seal.

Not sure, but I remember that there are long and short bleed nipples. Have you got a short nipple in along hole? Just a thought.
    I might be completely wrong.

Brake fluid will dissolve PTFE tape. Avoid at all costs.

You are never going to beleive this.

AK immediately sent from their supplier a new rear set of reconditioned calipers. I installed them yesterday morning. Bled them and cleaned any moisture from installation.

Today went out to continue installing the loom, both calipers are weeping from the threads! Can't f*&^%g beleive it. They were not over tightened.....i am lost for words and exasperated at what should be the most simple job of the build. I am going to ask for direct contact with their supplier.

Are you using metric nipples in imperial calipers, or vise versa?

Clive i am using the nipples that came in the calipers.......interestingly the nut/bolt head on each side is different??????that has confused me. 9mm on nearside and imperial on offside.....hmmm dont get that! I bought some replacement XJ40 bleed nipples from Frentech...havent fitted them yet as waiting to see Jons comments on the replacement and original pair.
