    Gear knob weights

Slightly odd question but what sort of weight gear knobs are people using with a cranked gear stick
    Preferably on a tremec box

I'm trying to plan for the future and have found the right knob but there are weight options and I'm not sure what to try

    Cheers

I used the black Tremec original with my T56 if that helps, no idea on weight i'm afraid.

I have the MDL knob on at the moment - I'll weigh it for you - but can't tell you what it's like to drive with as the car isn't on the road yet.. that said it feels about the same weight as a previous car I had (non-Cobra) which was a nice shift.

    Cheers arron,

The one I'm looking at is here,

    https://www.reverie.ltd.uk/product_l...roup=A_UGR_CAR

It's going to tie in with the dash I'm making.

There can do two weights An unfilled version at 137g.or a tungsten filled version at 280g which I'm almost leaning towards

    Cheers

Got me one of these fitted
Feels nice, no idea of weight but works well with a cranked lever

Heavier knobs are used to improve gear change ‘feel’. If you have a choice I’d fit the heaviest one you can find - Tremecs are reinventing for being a bit ‘agricultural’.
