Is the solution to unplug the power to the EPAS for the IVA test?

possibly. I'll fit the EPAS after the IVA so i can then tinker to my hearts content without the pressure of time.

De-powereing the EPAS isn't really going to help. The motor can be felt dragging behind when you steer, which also affects the self-centring. I removed mine also.

My De Dion has the Sierra set up with 18” Halibrands passed IVA no problem I’m slightly wider on front tyres so no need for Gym membership but only a bit heavy in tight manoeuvres...

Similarly, I've already got a De Dion with 18" Halibrands. I had the 1st (failed) attempt at the IVA without power steering and there weren't any complaints around self-centering. The power steering will only be there make the car a little more friendly to use at low speeds. I live in a beautiful part of ythe country but it has alot of winding roads so power steering will make the car alot friendlier to use. I can meddle with the castor angle and any power steering adjustments after the IVA.

I have just worked out all the electrical connections on corsa column switches including wash/wipe for my home built loom. If you need any help with switches, give me a shout!

Hi, please could I ask you to forward the electrical connections/colours over to me also as I'm having a nightmare with mine at the moment.

    Donor switch:

Ah, my old notes. I seem to remember that I'd made a mistake somewhere, but most of it is correct. Sorry...

Note: The indicator/light switch I used was from a Fiesta, not a Corsa.
