    Carpet fitting

When I built my car some years ago now, I decided that I wanted the carpets to come out if required, so I attached them with strips of velcro. It mostly worked, but the side carpet on the wall on the drivers side has always been a problem because of the squeeze getting in and out. The various glues I've tried to hold the velcro on haven't worked well, so now I think I'll just glue it to the wall.

    What do people use?

this is the stuff you want, more than one but less than two tins for a complete AK interior.

No, I'm not "repairing" it, I'm fine tuning its performance.

Thanks. I have contact adhesive, I was wondering if anyone used anything a little more forgiving - it's in a difficult place.

It's great stuff very sticky. I used it for under the bonnet heat reflective material and has not come off for last 5 years plus.

Use this in a well ventilated area other wise you will be away with the fairies.
