    Russ AK Cobra - Fleet

    Hello Everyone,

I am soon to start an AK Cobra build, as the kit is due to be ready late April 2020.
Devouring everyone else's build blogs and ensuring I have all the tools etc.

Looking forward to being part of the community and helping out others as I learn things.

I fancy doing some sort of blog or maybe I should start a Forum topic, but not sure which.
Images seem to be an issue on this site, so I would appreciate any advice where a nice clean build progress can be documented,

    Cheers
    Russ

Welcome Russ - I used to live near your part of the world (in Ash Vale) till 2014.
Suggest you get along to your local meet at Blackbush - Tony Goff is you local organiser , forum name 'Legend'. Pop along to get some inspiration and help from those who have been through the build process.

    Hi Russ, welcome on board.

I think most folks use blogspot which is a Google facility.
all you need is a google account if I remember correctly.

Just type in “Help blogger”. into a search engine and there’s loads of guidance in how to get going.

    hope this helps.
    Cheers

    Brill, thank you both.
I'll look up the 'meet' at Blackbush and be sure to pop along, and also start a blog.

    Why not a youtube channel?

Most people nowadays have an old phone that can be strategically placed in the garage or put on a time laps setting, if needed then just upload to youtube?

Welcome to the AK crew!! Say hello to Mothership for me when you see them next.

ahh there you are. I was waiting for you to pop your cherry.

I’m looking forward to a legendary build from you. Bet yours is on the road before mine.

    Hi Russ
i built a GD cobra couple of years ago so good luck. My son has a Youtube channel and lives in Fleet. Since I finished my build before he started his channel he didn’t feature the build. If you’re interested in talking to him when we get back to normal let me know.

Yes. My son driving. He’s supposed to do a full feature on the car. Seems just to like driving it. Wonder why
