Don’t those wheels look fantastic on that car? Soooo much more classy than those ridiculous looking 18”+ wheels some people put on their cars. Very nice indeed John.

    Men after my own heart.
I have 16” on my Dax as it was a compromise between wheel size and tyre availability when I built her.

Simon. I have some of those ridiculous 18" wheels on my De Dion. Thanks for the comment. Post a picture of your car and I'll make a stupid ridiculous comment about it.

    Andy,

If you look under my first post, you’ll see a link to my car, comment away. I don’t expect everyone to like it, but I’ve tried to make it look “period”
As always, these things are a personal opinion. And PERSONALLY I think 18”plus wheels look ridiculous on a cobra. I’m sure they might float the boat of a 17 year old with a Corsa, but on a Cobra (IMHO) they look ridiculous.
Would you also put 18” wheels on an Austin Healy or 20” rims with ribbon tyres on an E type? It’s all about what suits the car.
I have “old school” 15’s on mine, but 16” or at a pinch 17” are ok but going beyond that is not for me.
I’ll repeat again, this is just an opinion, but you know what they say about opinions and arseholes......Everybody’s got one.

    Simon

As we all own a kit car and not a original AC Cobra it's up to the owner to do as they want. Saying certain things are ridiculous ie 18" wheels , driving a plastic replica could be classed as that. You obviously have a ridiculous plastic one like mine. I may not like everyone's car but I would never say its ridiculous. Enjoy your not original Cobra copy, I enjoy mine even with its ridiculous 18" wheels and a Chevrolet engine😂.
