    Kit car identification thread...

    Anyone recognise one of these?

Three wheeler with the single wheel at the back, possibly rear engined, registered as a "Mumford" on a Q plate..

.. wait, I found it. But I'm going to see if anyone recognises it before I tell you what it is!

That's where I got the "Mumford" bit from googling that found the actual car .. but I wondered if anyone had ever seen one & recognised them - I'd certainly never seen one before!

Without google I’d have guessed at a Davrian imp-based kit

Yep that's the place - we were on our way between home and Sixfields (we don't often go to M&S, but it's so nice in there .. never a queue, no one-way system like Tesco, nice people.. not that we could afford to do our weekly shop there without going bankrupt )

And yeah, Kev has it - Mumford Musketeer, Viva or Anglia based. He wasn't hanging around though, no slowing down for speed bumps or sticking to the speed limit for him! Big chunk of gelcoat missing on the passenger side, the pax door looks like it's only half shut so his son could fall out at any moment, proper white knuckle motoring... I reckon it probably lives round the corner from me (we followed it from our house!) where the brush-painted hippie-mural'd 70s VW van is..

What do you mean? That’s me in the Mumford on a test drive! Didn’t handle that well so decided not to buy it
