    Air intake

Can someone post a picture of what the foam nose air intake looks like before it is installed, please? I'm curious as to how it is fixed in place

Haven’t got a before photo I’m afraid, but it isn’t fixed anywhere! The 4” pipe connects to the TB via some silicone hose, then the rest of the structure goes over the top of the rad and rests on it (sounds loose, but as ever, it’s been designed so that it’s neither loose nor visible)

Curious as to what the filter itself looks like. Still using a single conical filter directly on the front of the throttle body on mine.

Yep, It’s a grp thing that follows the shape of the body above it (if that makes sense?), but like an upside down snow shovel

Must be some sort of internal structure to stop the foam collapsing in - I'm guessing it's priced to typical GD standards so thinking of making my own. I have a performance lid from an LS1 that I bought years ago - not quite as hidden or as wide as the GD version and it will need something doing to it to actually hold a filter but possibly a good place to start

Yep, there is a wire grid glassed across it to stop the foam getting swallowed, as for price...no idea, it was years ago!
