You could also invest in a set of side pipes that are about 18'' from you ears !
I've had these for over twenty five years and don't hear any unwanted noises .
The other thing is that I only do about 3k miles a year .

    Hi Roco
The XCS kit is for the Dax DeDeon with Camber Compensation ,only the older Jaguar independent chassis has 4 UJs,
Dax doesn’t list a kit that eliminates the Jag drive shaft and UJs for Lobro joints on the De Deon ,
the price you quoted is only for one side when you put it in your basket the price is double

    Hello Gary,

this is what I found on the website of JK Sportscars : https://www.jksportscars.co.uk/?s=uj...t_type=product

    So 2 x £ 34 + 2 x £ 78 this makes £ 224. And for the shaft it is £ 375, so the total is £ 599.
    Kind regards,

    Rocco Jansen

I must admit that the only noises I experienced with the DeDion transmission were from the CV joints (which were at the time supplied by Dax as "inspected used" items, and from the CV joint adapter plate nuts and studs continually coming loose. The first was solved by fitting new joints, and the second by fitting K-nuts that could be properly torqued up! And as Chris mentioned, all other noises on the car strangely disappeared immediately after fitting a pair of DB sidepipes!

Hope you're keeping well BTW Rocco!

ah I made the mistake of adding two drive shafts , he also seems to have several different prices for the UJs

It is also recommended that the joints are regularly checked for movement
and pumped with grease if you have grease nipples available.
The old Jag one had these and should last for a long time.
We had these types on dyno propshafts and they lasted a good few thousand
    hours.
If they dried out they would be toast!
