I must admit that the only noises I experienced with the DeDion transmission were from the CV joints (which were at the time supplied by Dax as "inspected used" items, and from the CV joint adapter plate nuts and studs continually coming loose. The first was solved by fitting new joints, and the second by fitting K-nuts that could be properly torqued up! And as Chris mentioned, all other noises on the car strangely disappeared immediately after fitting a pair of DB sidepipes!
