Nice, 👍
Video taken a while back of the Rover 3.5 V8 I spent three years stripping down and rebuilding. I had it run in and tuned at Mass Racing, a local race engine specialist near me.
Im a complete novice so made my day when they sent this video of it running and not exploding. Its in the chassis now.

Nice, 👍
Yes nice. Fascinating watching the fan belt oscillate at certain rev levels
Classic Replica Viper currently in build
Sounds good 👍
So what did it achieve?
193bhp and 221lb-ft, see readout attached. No stump puller but happy with the gains I made with a higher lift cam, higher compression pistons, Edelbrock manifold and 4 barrel carb. Baby V8 but should still be fun and it was always planned to be a stepping stone for greater things! It was a complete baked, oily mess when I bought it for £50.

Impressive figures
A great feeling having built the engine from scratch and get to hear it run for the first time.
I bet your oily engines original cam lobe at the rear were long gone....
I on the other hand have a bog standard 90 BHP LandRover engine to get that all important V8 rumble.
Fingers crossed it has some bumps left on the stick or it'll be less than 90.
Nice flat torque curve. That will be great for the road. Nice building your own engine and learn as you go.
Thanks, yes, it was a real learning curve and a great project to start me off. A few before and after shots.
