Why do they insist on calling these cars 1965 when they were made many years later?! The advert is happy to let you think it is an original.
One month to go to save up for this one ...

or try this if the first is too expensive ...

Registered as a 1951 AC Convertible. That's taking it abit too far.

According to DVLA it's registered as an AC Cobra Date of First Registration January 1965, First Registered with DVLA November 2014.

I mean the Kirkham. Says in advert and on dvla.

Bit of confusion
The first car is registered as a 1965 AC Cobra Mk. III 427 SC DG
The second car.
The Kirkham ? This has a few curve balls registered 1951 "AC colour black 2.6 Ltr engine on DVLA. Lots wrong with the V5C colour and engine size which should be corrected. 1951 is a new date. How did it past a valid SVA then 2005 first registered.
It has a COX number on the chassis yet the tag plate states AC Ditton and a Kirkham tag which will have the correct vin as a COX.
Nice looking car. Shame they did not post the Kirkham build and invoices. I am sure Kirkham can verify following the Cox number chassis stamp and the details.

Have fun with the incorrectly registered Kirkham. Registration for it is a mess. Good luck to the buyer.

I’m pretty confident the first car didn’t exist in 1965 or for many years after that.
Correct.

can't help myself.....
so previously for sale on THT in 2018 for £300k ....so that didn't last long, and not much profit for that owner. Funny wheels for a 427, btw

Huddart FE428 + toploader
Not listed in the Shelby Register.
Despite the questions and concerns, it’s still a very beautiful car to behold. I would love to open my garage and find that in there.
David.
Life is driving the Cobra. The rest of the time is just waiting.
