Track Rod End Nut / Thread size
Hi all,
Trying to help a friend with a Sumo Mk3 it appears that the track rod end nuts have come loose my question is should they be nylons, castlelated with slit pins or metal lock nuts? Can anyone tell new thread size so I can sort for him?
Thanks Mark

Hi,
Is this what you're looking for:-

Looks like an M10 Nylock. You could give Pilgrim a call to be sure.
Hope this helps.

Tanks for your reply, I didn’t think of contacting pilgrim but my friend has been in touch it seems that it’s the lower ball joint nuts! I think they also look like M10 nylons? Do you know? Many thanks .

Hi,
Yes they do look like M10, I'll take a look at mine tomorrow and see what I can determine.

Hi,
Well that was a surprise, it's bigger than that!
It takes a 22mm socket/spanner to fit that Nylock nut.
Which this web site tells me that its an M14:-

Hope this helps.
