Kidderminster is the only IVA place in the country I belive that insists on triangulating the top seat belt mountings. Do a search on the forum and the subject comes up.

I think there are quite a few AKs that have been through Kidderminster now so they should be getting used to them.
For the sake of making a couple of triangulation brackets in the boot you can save some grief.
I found the testers very helpful on stuff like setting the speedometer accurately on the rollers and emissions testing. I was able to make some adjustments on the day to pass that part.
One peculiar issue I was picked up on was height of top seat belt mount from the seat base. It’s pretty close on the AK in any case but mine was failed on standard seats as supplied by AK. I had to make some thinner seat bases for the retest - still got them if anyone has this issue.
Check your steering rack and make sure none of the solid pipes are touching the chassis - if so you need to bend them slightly or insert some rubber insulation.
Other than that take some warm clothes, drinks and snacks as it’s a long session with no facilities.
    Cheers

I had to triangulate my seat belt tower when I was tested at Gillingham.
