    I don't get heated seats.
I tried them once - it felt a bit like I had soiled myself. Do people like that feeling?

I have a heater to try and demist the screen, about as effective as pissing in the sea to try and warm it up when dipping the crown jewels in 🙄
15mm copper, cheap, paints nice and works.

If I thought it would get the car done for the show I would come up and make them for you 😁👍

I'm a bit pissed off this morning, as our local car show organisers (Storrington & District Classic and Sports Car Enthusiasts aka SADCASE) have written to me today to say there's been a cock-up and I' not even on the waiting list to include my car in the local bank holiday show. So I am indeed a very sad case today.

    .... now thinking about Stoneleigh.

Ofcourse if I do go, it means I wont be sanding the hardtop that w/e, Dave
That's ok, get the light done though.
Dive up my way, great cross country route to Stoneleigh, all cross country and empty 👍

If you throw in making a set of headers, that might do it!

Why not just tack weld it all together and then get a pro to do the final welding?
    Simples?

Actually I think the hardest part is the cutting & fitting rather than the finish welding; though yep, that is a possibility I already discussed with Joe at BTB Exhausts up in Daventry.. his prices for a full system are "original car", but he's also a car guy and helpful - he's popping over at some point for a look and to offer his professional advice (for free, so maybe it'll be his wife's advice )

No I mean - a price tag the owners of a million-pound car don't blink at paying
