    Electrical Circuit advice

Sorry, this is not about my Cobra but my 1955 MG ZAMagnette.
I know there are some expert electrical people on here and I hope they will be able to offer advice and confirm or put me right in my thinking.
    So here goes.

My Magnette has been converted to flashing indicators by a previous owner.

The trafficators still work but are not in the circuit.
My intention is to have them working (but not flapping up and down like a demented Spaniels ears on full chat),
so here is my representation of how it should work using two indicator relays (Lucas SBF163)
At the moment the single SBF163 provides the power to the steering wheel already flashing (if you know what I mean?)
The intention is to provide the steering wheel with a separate ignition power and then when the indicators are used that then powers the relays.
Can any of you electrical boffins see any problems with my diagrams?
Hopefully this way the cancelled indicator will stop both flashers and trafficator arms.
    Cheers,
    Murray

That's the trouble with you Sailors, long hair, quick zips and, Oohh, look at the size of that!!

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

That looks logical to me, do you have/need 4 way flasher requirement?

Not yet Jim, it was something that I was thinking of adding.
These old ones are liable to break down in the most awkward of places.
Good idea to do it all at once I spose.
    Cheers,
    Murray

Actually, looking at that again it’s not quite right.

move the “indicator light” onto the same pin as “left indicators” (or right as appropriate), then apply 12V ign live to that pin. Indicator switch “on-left” will provide ign live to the relay closing the contacts and switching the ign live on the relay to “left indicators”.

    Pin. Function.

    49. 12V ignition live
49a. 12V live from indicator switch

Thank you Jim, I see what you mean, I shall do a dry run with it all on a bench before chopping any car wiring.
    Cheers,
