    Finally got my Stripes...

Well after nearly 5 years of building ups and downs my car finally has some stripes.
I can see light at the end of that cobra tunnel..
    Hopefully some pics attached...

I bet you are pleased with the result,
mine was done many years ago by Thunder Road Cars in blue and
with Jaguar slightly off white strips, didn't go with the extra pin stripes though.
The colour that you have gone with is spot on in my view, I may well have considered
similar when I had mine done although I will not be changing my colour scheme as
I think the paint job is still spot on .
You just need to enjoy the rest of the build up procedure from now.

Just to add, the opening to the radiator looks great at the moment
but what have you got in mind for a grill/covering ?
At present mine is open the same as yours but have not decided any thing
as of yet even after twenty odd years !

Yes I'm really pleased with it. I was worried about the grey being too dark to take the black but I thin its bang on.
As for the grill there will be a splitter bar there initially but I'm hoping to make a grill, but set it back closer to the radiator.
To protect the rad from stones and small animals but still give the open look, if you know what I mean...

Nice colour. I think the new blue white strips is now grey/silver which is becoming popular. I have seen a few now and would be going this way on a new build.
I mounted a black painted grill x2 in front of the radiator to stop any stones. Mounted one in front of the other and off set so air flow is not restricted but the hole size is then halved. I did not want to put a mesh in the nose area.
