Paint and body prep in the south west

    Hi all,

I am getting closer to needing to sort out where I will get my car prepared and sprayed. I am in Plymouth and hoping for some recommendations as to who others have used and could recommend.

    Thank you.

    Are you on the road?
I'd recommend driving it for a bit before committing to paint. When it breaks down (which it will, they all do) you can just throw your tools down to fix it without worrying about crying voer paint scatches and chips.

Try and get hold of Anthony at Crendon Cobra, he might be able to point you in the right direction, as I think you might need someone that has an oven to bake it to adhere to fibre glass.

These are also in the Wellington area.

You don't need an oven to adhere paint onto fibreglass as far as I am aware. But it can be useful for getting filler, primer, and paint to flash off a bit quicker.
The expert on this topic is Dave (BigBlock) from Reading.

Give me a call. I can facilitate and put you in touch with my paint guys. I can talk you through the whole process and various costs etc and also provide Transport if required.

My paint shop has extensive experience with fibreglass and cobras.
