    Torque Figure For Chevy V8

    Hi Guy’s,

    I am refitting my aluminium inlet manifold and wanted to check the torque figure, the heads are aluminium

    Hi Rich, These a huge difference between heads , my ZZ4 heads after extensive head word get 450ft/lbs.

    Hi Clive, I think he means what torque to do the intake manifold bolts up. Not what torque will the engine make.

    Do not do the bolts up to 450ft/lbs!!

    Rich, I believe they should be done up to 25ft/lbs

    Hi Clive and Sean,

    Thank you both for your feedback, I should have been clearer in my request, it was in fact the torque figure for the bolts that secures the Inlet to the heads
