    New Daytona section?

Could Rob or the mods consider a separate “Daytona” section? Whilst always going to be relatively small in number with DB, Dax and Factory 5 selling them numbers are likely to increase. Such low numbers wouldn’t really justify a sub-section by manufacturer but rather group them all together under “Daytona”?

I know that Southern Roadcraft did a very small run of the Ferrari Daytona,
that was back in the early nineties.
This was the time when I got involved with my Cobra build but was also thinking
about the Daytona due to the idea of having better weather protection.
They based the kit on a V12 Jag and I think you could even use Ferrari bits on
    some of the build.
Would be interested to find out if any of these kits are still being used ?

Thanks Jim, appreciate it. I won’t have to scratch my head now if I want to post. If I can still put photos up without using a third party hosting site I will. Well we know Dave Brooks is building one as is John Sharples whose build was featured in the last Snake Torque. I’ve also seen another rhd Superformance Daytona imported from South Africa previously up for sale-registration V8 RS? Anyone else know of any others?

There is at least 3 gen 3 factory fives. I have one John the other and another customer of mine has the other one I have imported so far. There are another 2 private imports. Then 2-3 gen 2 factory fives. I’m looking to bring another 3 over this year.

    Chris,

This isn't for the Ferrari Daytona it's the Cobra Daytona coupe model, but yes, SR did do the Ferrari Daytona and of the few i've seen they looked very good indeed
