I went with a Cosmos cover too, had it about 3 years now. It's pretty good and gives some protection and privacy. The really fine dust does settle through the cover, but for a cheap indoor cover it does well enough.

    Cover for sale

I had a blue cover with white stripes made for my Dax by Specialised Car Covers, cost over £300.00. It has the wing mirror and two hoop add on’s. it’s fleece material, great quality. I only used it a few times. It’s for sale if anybody is interested £125.00 I’m based in Reading. I can post at extra cost if interested…? I no longer have the Dax. I tried uploading photo… I can email some photos if anybody wants?

Has the blue cover sold ?
Many years ago I bought a cover which just drapes over the car. Quite thick and soft material. Can't remember the make.
    Been looking for a replacement.
I have tried a cosmos, size small (amazom £29).
It fits great and is very stretchy, looks good, but .... If like me you tend to 'rest' things on the car when you're in the garage, then be warned. they are pretty thin.
You can see the stripes through the cover when on the car, And any slightly sharp edges will create a hole in my opinion.
I'm thinking of keeping the original but putting elastic round the bottom corners.
May try another option off Amazon.

Got my cars in Carcoons too.
They are like they've been in suspended animation when they come out. Nothing touches the paintwork either which is a massive bonus. Dry, dust free and they come with a battery trickle charger so the fans are kept going in the event of a power cut. The electricity consumption is fairly negligible too.

worked out that it will cost me about £50 in electricity for continuous usage for 4months.
Waiting for some really damp conditions to see if it works as I hope - put up last weekend.

    Kevin,
Which one you gone for ? Sounds very reasonable on electric especially when I have solar panels so just need to know it does not create dampness inside otherwise it could cause problems with fibreglass.

I bought a second hand Veloce - very pleased with it so far. Need to hook-up the battery conditioner that it comes with it - job for Christmas hols. They are quite pricey brand new, about £600 I think, but used ones do come up on ebay/gumtree from time to time for rather less. e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154734244...IAAOSwik9hrIqm

Mine had a small 1" hole in the plastic, but it makes no difference to operation, still inflates, but I'll put some ducktape over it over Christmas.
    Cobra fits perfectly.

Slight problem with my up-and-over garage door which fouled the internal frame when half-closed, so dropped out a length of tube all round to make the frame shorter - back end just inflates itself like the outdoor version.
Easy access both sides and at rear with flaps that unzip and just throw over top of the frame. I get a lot of spider poo and other foliage/leaves//seeds that blows in when we get storms - carcoon certainly keeps that off of the car.

    And on the cheapskates side.
I have tried both of these as mentioned previously...

The red cosmos as previous was very thin but a great fit, didn't feel it protected the body from and passing mishaps very well.
Decided to keep the grey one which was a poly propylene type. Not so soft but a lot thicker for protection against knocks and putting things on the car, which I know I shouldn't...

    Photos may help..
Can't seem to upload anything ???
Tried inserting image and than went advanced to insert attachment... still no joy.
    Sorry
