Anyone been through IVA with one of these?
Just found this thread, i believe the one I have has appropriately radiused edges? http://www.cobraclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62306

Evening all.
Does anyone know any reason those LED combined fog/reverse strip lights won’t pass the IVA test if they are fitted central to the car and above 250mm high (and are suitably ‘E+B/F’ marked)?
E.g - https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/237mm-...d-reverse-lamp
Also, just dropped the sumo onto its wheels to check a few other IVA/lighting dims and looks like I am going to have to jack the front of the car up a further 30mm to get those to pass!
Thanks

If you're not meant to eat animals, how come they're made of meat!?

I fitted one of these centrally and it went through IVA no problem

Ah that’s reassuring, thanks.
Mine is actually this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112597168...mis&media=COPY
So slightly different. Interestingly looks like both of ours have to be installed upside down in order to have fog light fitted ‘to the centre or offside’ of car
It seems like most stuff made in China (which I assume basically everything is!) assumes the entire world drives on the right.. much like they assume all of Europe uses km/h and only the US uses mph (based on the two Android radios I have .. both of which are 'stuck' assuming the car is LHD and km/h, despite being bought for the UK)
I have a similar lamp, though haven't used it for IVA prep, and I'd also need to fit it upside down.

My concern is that i don't want to fit it directly to the body as per the image above but just below the body on an angle bracket (i think like the image on my link above), the actual front of the light is all radiused but the rear isn't, not sure if the IVA testers '30 degree cone' they use to 'determine the floor line' will be able to make contact with that area, im hoping not...

Hi,
Fog lights must have either a B or F marked on the lens , If not it will fail.
