I've often been asked, "What do you old folks do now that you're retired? Well, I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch and margaritas into urine.
Life's good, live it.
Hi Mike,
I purchased the car ready built from a chap in London. Its all in good order but just needs a few jobs done to tidy it up. The first thing im trying to sort out is why it splutters at about 80mph, then its just cosmetics really. Im looking forward to the first meet with the local lads (Kent)
For info the engine is mid 70's and the car mid 90's.
Dave
First, Is it a Holley carb, if it is, check the fuel float levels are correct, if they are ok then check the accelerator pump settings, link below will tell you how to do it.
