If RV have there demonstrator at Stoneleigh Kit Car Show, go and have a look at it and judge for yourself.

I saw it at Exeter Show in November and IMHO if it was my company I wouldn't have displayed a car built so badly.

Rich

They hadn't changed it for Exeter, don't know if they have now or even if they are planning changing it in the future.

Re: R V Dynamics Python ?

Your right re quality of build, the demo car was at Stafford and it wasnt exactly easy on the eye.

I'm more interested in the single donor factor, the possibility of using the BMW V8 from the 540 as well. I suppose at the end of the day its different and new so its going to get people looking.

I didnt know about the top wishbone on the front suspension till i signed on here and read the pistonheads thread, one of the reasons why these forums are so valuable in my opinion. I will take a much closer look at stoneleigh but at the moment i'm more likely to try and talk my brotherinlaw out of it.

thanks for the reply

Re: R V Dynamics Python ?

I think you will find the main thing that puts people off company's like this is something that is mentioned not as a criticism or meaning to put the project down but as a constructive comment ( which should be welcomed in my book ) was handled in such a poor way as to just put everyone off all together. Must say I was very disappointed in the car. For a demo car the colour should be an accepted one not such an extreme choice and it looked to be finished with some incorrect parts, the headlight surrounds jumped out at me as they looked more like Mini ones which are too big. IMHO

There's an article on BMW V8 power in an AK in Whick Kit Car this month.
Also, IMHO, the Python livery aint great, but thats totally cosmetic. Dash wasnt my cup of tea (too modern looking for me), but the recent review and the challenge laid down in the mag (come to Reigate and have a go in the demonstrator) seems as fair as you can go. They even invited KitCar staff along. Can't say fairier than that, and if it halts the mud slinging from Den's side, it wont be a bad thing.... and on another matter.... I know Kit Car want to promote their circulation figures to aide their advertising and subs revenue, but am I the only one getting sick of the overly aggressive commentary on this ? Come on, it just aint gentlemanly behaviour is it?

Thank you, rant over.

Kevin
