Re: MOT Computerisation - PROBLEMS.

Tweak? TWEAK?

This is a Crendon my man - we don't TWEAK them, we fine-tune them for the prevailing conditions.

In truth, yes - it never hurts to raise the idle speed just a tad. Adjusting idle mixure is a little fraught tho' - you can go too far and muck up the HC figure if you go too weak. I tend to leave it set from where it passed the previous year.

Re: MOT Computerisation - PROBLEMS.

Should have realised that "tweak" was the wrong expression for such profesionals as yourself !!!
(Mind you Oakleys joining your ranks soon so that will lower the tone!)

My guy never tests mine in the past three years - first time he had a go and said - "thats a bit high but never mind" Didnt bother after that.

Anyway I'll see how we go and "Fine Tune" as needed.

Thanks Wilf

TOP FIND PETE.
So if the V5 says nothing chances are it's a visual only. Brian V8 BJC took his car recently and although the car qualified as a new vehicle in 2003 when I built it and it was registered I believe that his emissions only had to be either visual, 4.5 or 3.5. None of these should ba a problem for anyone here if the car is running OK in the first place.....Unless thet have one of those LS thingys.
