Thanks all - thats eased my mind - (mind you Dave I might need you on the end of a Phone when I take mine in!)

PeteV - thanks for the flow chart - useful stuff!

Big Tone - I now have a mental image of a deformed snake!!!
(and the expression on its face!)
Can't think of a suitably witty response at the moment - at least one that is printable!!

Have to change my signature soon - its stopped being freezing now I just keep getting wet!

Tone - still trying to make up for Exeter two years ago !!

The details that the MOT computer logs onto can be changed by contacting DVLA to have the correct provenance details put into the system.
