New Carburettor fed LS engines from British American Engines

New for 2008

British American Engines now offers modified LS2 engines, which use a carburettor, instead of the stock GM fuel injection and ECM system. Starting at 440 bhp, these are ideal replacements for on the road Cobra owners who want to upgrade their Rover or iron small block Chevy.

We can offer a complete engine package to bolt onto your existing TKO, TR350 and Getrag gearboxes, or we can provide a removal and refit service if preffered - please contact ian@ukusaengines.co.uk for further details.

Our modified carburettor fed LS2 engines come in two options:-

Carb fed with MSD system: Avoids the requirement of setting up and mapping the ignition system by replacing the existing coil-on-plug ignition system with an MSD distributor and capacitive discharge unit.

Or

Carb fed with coil over plug system: Uses the existing coil-on-plug ignition system controlled by MSD ignition package to give improved control.

Both of these option include all the necessary ancillaries which are not included in the stock GM LS engines and for further details of these and our hand built turn key LS engines: Modified hand-built carburettor LS engines. Chevy / Chevrolet LS1 LS2 LS6 LS7 engine supplier.

Please note that these are in addition to our stock GM LS engine range:-

Chevy / Chevrolet LS1 LS2 LS6 LS7 crate engines: great for TVR Ultima GDT70 Cobra. LS1 LS2 LS6 LS7 crate engine suppliers
