Chris, you got a secret gallery of my car parts hanging around by any chance

Dave Mac ever time for me, they have made me a few props and the drive shafts pictured for a very reasonable cost fast turnaround and top notch workmanship, those welds are spot on.

As for the standard ones they were vintage E Type so may have been a tad weak to start with. One hard launch with almost zero wheel spin soon sorted them out though. I am a lot more gentle off the line these days hence quite slow 1/4 times, sick and tired of that recovery truck

yep dave mac is coventry and probably the worlds leading authority on Rudge motorcycles, and his son is a very decent vintage racer too!! Dave has a very warped sense of humour too; totally barking-top guy!!!

Re half jag shafts Adrian Cocking once told me that the shortened ones he used to buy were 40% stronger than std jag ones, due to the inner tube that was welded in during the cut and shorten / re weld process.
Im sure the factory racing TWR XJS's were putting out in excess of 600 rwhp at the end through an IRS but not sure how std it was inside.
