Now you know that you would do the same thing.

Hell I am waiting for the school lunch boxes. Every one else does it why not Shelby. All the kid star in the US have their name on everything you can imagine. The old man has a lot of catching up to do.

Neil, Get a luggage rack.

How do you like that fast winding big block?
A lot different than John's stroker isn't it?

Tony, it is a stroker too. 462 cube. The ally flywheel certainly lets it spin up pretty quick though.
I haven't had it beyond 5000rpm yet, but it seems like anything above that is a bit pointless as I can grap the next cog and be pulling like a train from under 2000rpm anyway.
It is a totally different engine to the SBC I had in the Dax, much less 'cammy' and huge amounts more torque.
Seems to use a fair bit more fuel too, not sure why.......

doubt it, had a chat with him on sunday at the blackbush meet . still got to have one.

Kind of hoping you are going to be in double figures. The JK sales pitch said 17 mpg on a long run. ERA web site quoted 14-19 from a 390. Planning (eventually) on a SA 406 (bored out 390, but with requisite 400 horses) rather than the full-on job you have, so might be worth 1-2 mpg more than yours.... maybe ....?

OK, nuff said..... hit me with it.....
