How many manufacturers or their representatives are regularly on here?

I think most look in from time to time, but it's not really in their interest to post here too often.

Den is being brave at the moment and is getting a relatively easy ride, but that can all change very quickly if someone takes offence at one of his posts.

i can see your point. It would be very easy I guess for them to potentionally loose a customer with careless chat/opinions...........perhaps!

I thought that the 'unwritten agreement' was that the manufactures do NOT post on the forum so as to avoid "bun fights"

I know that Den is posting left, right, and centre at the moment but he's a special case!

Den is just, err, umm, "special".

And he has just bought Pilgrim Cars back out of receivership after the person he sold it to some years ago unfortunately "got it wrong" and left a few folks in the lurch waiting for paid-for parts that would never materialise.

So he is being cut some slack, although for how long is anyones guess.

I would have thought enough slack had been paid out by now, personally.............

Some of the US forums which actively invite and promote "sponsors" suffer in that you are not then permitted to bash sponsors.

The forums then degenerate to very pc responses, with much "intervention" from administrators etc..

Hardly the free-form forum we have here.

Glad that manufacturers visit, but I would not want them all adding their opinions to the "which is the best ", or many other debates, !

Quite right Steve, after all, we wouldn't want the untarnished freedom from bias that we see already on threads like those to be sullied, would we?
