It has been three and a half years in the making, but it is finally ready.
The DB Replicas LeMans hardtop which has proved quite popular for the Dax (Over 60 examples to date) is
now available for the Pilgrim Sumo 3

I just have the side screens to pattern up over the next couple of weeks and they will be available for sale. Same price as the Dax version (£1700) for a complete std kit inc. all fixings and brackets, bespoke toughened, tinted, heated rear screen. locks and latches, hinges and rubbers, side screens and headlining panel set.
Optional extras:-
gas rams for tailgate. £40
Gasless rams for side screens. £40
Headlining material (Leather, vinyl, alcantara etc.....) £???

Piccies:-

Are you joking? That was about the best weekend I ever had..
  • Used warrant card to get all the way up there on the train
  • Got slightly inebriated at some very dodgy club in Stoke..
  • Had a full English Breakfast
  • Got a ride in TVR Tuscan from hotel owner who lent us his Mini Cooper for the day while you finished off
  • Watched England win the World Rugby
  • Picked up the (2nd ever De Dion on the road)
  • Lost a little oil on the way back
It was mental and totally huge! Not forgotten any one bit of it, except how long ago it was. Blimey..

I don't take my Sumo out in the rain but I must say that hard top does look like a superb piece of kit!

Hard top

Dave,

You've got that design spot on, my Sumo has been at the rolling chassis stage for some time but I'll be in touch about ordering one. Is there a demist or heated rear screen for all year round motoring?

Kelvin.
