Sovereign AK Cobra - How much?

Well, I recognize this hot little black AK number from when I popped in to see Mr Hale just recently, but he didn't tell me he'd actually melted down the Crown Jewels for all the Bling Bits

Mind, WHAT A GREAT LOOKING CAR now it's finished.

I see it's going to be featured in a National mag as well. Good Work. I haven't bought a copy of Fiesta for years.

    However.....£45K.....That's some expensive hot totty

Must be the "Quilted rear bulkhead" and the motolita wheel, you can have mine for £30 and paint it yourself.

Interesting. I am sure I saw that Cobra on the back of a trailer heading up the A303 from Exeter around 8.00 on Wednesday morning.

Nice job Anthony, shame I missed it.

Whats really interesting is this pro built AK is priced at £5K more than their pro built (DB?) camber compensating Dax.

Both for sale at Sovereign, both black, both 5.7 litre Chevy's.

    Must be the quilted thingamyjig

Does it say EFI engine in the blurb? It looks a lot like an Edelbrock manifold and carb to me?

Bit over priced though even with a quilted bulkhead!

    Craig.

Dax Tojeiro, + 355 Chevy + Tremec box = In storage and possibly for sale, make an offer...
DB Hardtop still in the garage.
Polishes to date = On hold.

    EFI.
    Front wing flippers.
    Quilted "Thingy". Bulkhead.
    Power steering.
    More power?????
    Riveted bonnet scoop.
    Fancy switches.
    CHB wheels.
    Tonneau cover.
    Nose vents with alloy scoops.
    tripple grill wings.
    Silicone hoses.
    New AK chassis.
    Billet polished steering wheel boss.
    chrome fog and reverse lights.

And that's just what I can see from the pics.
The EFI and PAS will probably add at least £2500 to the build costs, so all in all about the same.

    P.S. Nice looking car Anthony.

Exactly, what would it be worth with a 383 in there?

    Less?

Seriously though, that is strong money. Still a lovely beastie, especially the color combo. I bet it'd shift, right from the get go, too!
