Hi all,
just in case anyone's interested I thought I'd post a few ideas for meeting up as a group.

Pencoed (near Bridgend) Classic Car Show - Sunday 9th May 2010
A great little show run by South Wales Classic Car Club for charity.
Free entry before the 1st April or £10 on the day.
If there's a group of us to park together we'd need to arrive together. Although Club Stands can be arranged in advance.

30th Vintage & Specialist Rally at Tredegar House (Newport) - Sunday 13th June 2010
An excellent show with a big turn out usually.
Also there's aclassic car run the day before about 130 miles (cost £25).
Free entry before 8th March, on the day £20.
Club stand available before 9th March.
All in aid of Leukaemia Research.

And of course, Stoneleigh, Le Mans, Le Mans Classic, Silverstone classic.

I am going o make the effort to go to a couple of these events this year.
I thik there may be a few more small events too, If I find out anyhing, I will post it up.
I think last year I did a few runs up Tenby & Saundersfoot, its a nice little drive on a Sat or Sunday.
Any sunny weekend, give me a bell & i will be there!!!

Hi all.
good to see some interest in the area.
Not sure when it is but of course there's Singleton Parrk in Swansea too.
There's a nice little show at Coleford in the forest of Dean too. The whole town becomes a classic car show we had about 8 Cobs last time I went a couple of years back.
The Gloucester and Wilts bunch normally go along too.
Any other ideas?
I did try and get a S. Wales group together once before but didn't get much help from the Club back then. Maybe another attempt is in order.
Anyone volunteering to be an organizer??

Hi Chris.
last time I tried I couldn't get a members contact list for the area for love nor money.
After many requests at Stoneleigh etc. I gave up in the end.
Any chance???

Gents...Just a thought..It would be good to meet one weekend somewhere in the middle just to check out who is about in the area...why wait for a Show?
On another note: can someone advise what is the best way to deal with an unsightly and annoying stone chip that has just appeared on my drivers side right front wing smack on top of the beautiful curvature...god knows how that one happened. The white fibreglass shows through and I know its there. Also got a couple of nicks down by the drivers side rear wing behind the ally protectors. Cobra is a Jag Blue pretty close to the Shelby colour. Advice much appreciated.
