| Re: Spotted Cobra with number plate COB2 Yep.. amazing things these cars, with the patina and wear and tear marks that go back years. I had a drive in a '67 CSX late last year and have watched it being torn down and rebuildt in its original colours over the last few months. We dropped the rebuildt 427 engine into it (wow..not much room at all as you start creasing ali paneling and crunching bodywork squeezing the lump thru the little bonnet area.) I love my fake snake, but there is a sense of awe when in the precense of an icon. I can just imagine back then when these cars arrived on the scene, these days we just seem to take 400-500bhp cars for granted as any idiot can buy a well behaved 500bhp audi or BMW M5. So hats off to the nutters who raced these things.
