That would have been me then.

I was taking the car for a spin to check out a mod to the carb, it didn't really work and also I've got so fed up with the noise from my pipes I went home and fitted the squashed baffles back in! (At least until I get the clever baffle tubes).

It wasn't so much the amount of noise, it was the type of noise, it sounded like ten air cooled beetles all in a row. (That strange farty sound that they make!)

Anway see you at the weekend....I'll give you a ring later.

Bee's....hum, (no pun intended!) slighly better then flatulent beetles!

Could a flatulent bee be classed as being jet propelled? Do they leave vapour trails?.....I need another pill.
