Two Cobs in the New Forest

Spotted today (Sat 4th Aug): silver with dark red stripes on A35 north of Christchurch around 14:45. I only spotted you at the last minute, so apologies for not waving!

Then a very shiny black one in Lyndhurst around 16:00, where due to the traffic always being at a standstill there in the summer, we managed to exchange a few words as we passed in opposite directions!

The New Forest is obviously a popular Cobra haunt. Mind you, heading there from Oxford this morning was a nightmare - the A34, M3, M27, A31 and A35 were all very busy, and there were several accidents - one very nearly right in front of me on the M3 heading home

Very nice day for it though - I've had my long overdue Cobra fix, so I'm a very happy bunny now

Also in foorest this afternoon, i saw the black one on old A31 just approachibg cadnam. so does that make four of us.

I tend to head down your way quite often - I like the New Forest, and it's also the shortest route to the sea from Oxford, which is about as far from the sea as you can get in England!

I'll PM you my contact details - I might even organise a Thames Valley convoy down there!
