Being recovered alongside crashbarriers on the Chichester road Saturday morning. Hope you weren't hurt.

There was a grey one staying at our hotel in Portsmouth. I presumed it was there for the revival.

Also there both days - luvverly event - TT race was special, shame the Willment Daytona couldn't quite catch the lightweight e-types.
DB4-GT side swiped could be expensive - but I suppose if you own a 300K+ car you can afford a respray.
The lingerie shop model in the paddock area was quite special as well !

Was advised that car park-B had special parking for replicas and older cars but which were not pre-66. prehaps next year anyone who is taking a Cob may bear this in mind when booking tickets, perhaps we could then get an area for Cobs ?
If lucky I may have my car on road for Le-mans classic and if not for Goodwood revival.

Had a nice chat with a couple in a GD (although to my shame completely forgot their names). Cracking racing on Saturday and not as crowded (at least in my mind) compared to other years. Wonderful unique event. I was even honest with the attendants and didn't park in the pre-66 carpark

What a fab day Sat was

Saw the best 2 lap action at the corner before the Lavant straight ever

a Mark 11 jag lost all it's oil and from then on everything came off without any damage

my gray Dax was in the Lavant grandstand carpark E

The Revival It's just the BEST.

Cheers Clive

We travelled down from Glasgow on the Friday with virtually no rain, attended on the Saturday and Sunday and had the most incredible time. It was our first time and it really is an awesome event, the Paddock is just mind blowing.
Saw two other Cobra's, both black in the pre 66 area.
Travelled home on the Sunday night and nearly froze to death after Manchester - it got down to about 6 degrees!! and arrived Monday morning around 4am, again with little rain, so hood was not used at all.
About 30 miles before home the accelerator cable started sticking on, then as we came off the slip road the revs shot up to around 5000rpm!! managed to sort quickly - couple of nuts needed tightening.
Imagine if that had happened just as we arrived into the driveway......

So already planning for next year.

Had a good day Sunday. Parked next to a nice Dax in car park E. I was in the BMW Touring.
Had Lavant stand tickets for Saturday but missed the whole day because our flight out of Milan on Friday was cancelled.
We were quite close to the Galaxie that caught fire underneath and then seized coming into the corner before the chicane.
A Mustang had a big off due to the oil left behind.

Anyone know how the Bizarini (sp?) driver is? Sounded like a serious crash from what people told me on the day.

Martin Stretton was driving the Iso Bizzarini. He went into the the wall at Madgewick pretty hard. There's some pictures linked on Club Arnage and a piece in the local paper.
