Do you know what part needs replacing?
If you run an RV8 and its the rotor arm then I bet I can guess what's happened! Of course I don't know what lump you are running so I could be miles off! Pete

Ah..."Miles off" then! I thought that when the car was serviced they may have changed the rotor arm, there are a load of cheap pattern ones for Rover lumps and the insulation breaks down causing the engine to konk out! Pete
