Hi Tony

Did you own it back then? Must have been at least 13 years ago.

The Guildford cruise was awesome at that time. Filled both car parks.

Craig.

I remember that one. I was building my Contemporary at the same time, so I was down at Jim's place on a regular basis. It has Ford 460 in it, but I don't recall the owner being anyone famous though.
I did a couple of shows with Jim and we took the yellow car to each one.
Jim was a bit of a rogue and we sort of fell out, which was about par for the course with Jim.

No, but my car came from Lambes Ct. If you look at Google maps I think the Cobra was outside the guys garage when the satelite pic was taken. Lower left arrow and I'm sure there was a Cobra as I drove there, by the top arrow.

Small world!! I lived in Bayswater drive when mine was on the road and later moved to Plomley Close after it had died. Second turning off Long Catlis.

Dave, I don't recall the owner being famous, but then the original owner ran out of money and took delivery. It later reappeared at Jim's and did the show circuit and demos. Was a deal struck? I was led to believe that the final owner wasn't the guy that commissioned it.

Only living up the road in Forest Hill I used to drop in from time to time to see what was going on, usually not a lot.

My dad was very friendy with Jim and was always hovering around his workshop even when I was still at school. I lived locally in Shirley at the time.
