Small world m8. My gearbox came from Jim. It was from a Shelby Mustang he was sorting at the time. Needed a five speed.

Nop! The Dax was built by god knows who 1989/90 and altered by A N Other. Ended up as a daily driver in the Scottish borders and found it's way into Hallmark's hands. They ditched it in a deal with Kent Sports Cars, but it didn't sell so the owner used it for a bit then dumped it in a storage barn. I rescued it from the barn for silly money in 1993 and set about sorting it out. See gallery pics 1997.

1998 onward has been a mix of changing engines and long periods of storage. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

Look forward to seeing it on the road! Sounds like it has being doing some sitting around like my car!
