Another Oldham Cobra ?

J22 near Chadderton/Oldham heading towards Ashton.

Blue, similar colour to Karen & Steve's - or was it you, Steve ?

Jon

Similar classic colour to yours, but going the opposite way, so couldn't tell if had stripes.

Sounds like we may have a few in the Oldham region.

Anyone going to Capesthorne Hall this weekend ? Weather is supposed to be clear and dry, but never been to this show.

I think this is an Andrew Greenwood event.

It's more classics than others and if you haven't prebooked they may charge you to go in (its not usually to expensive though) but you'll be able to take your car into the show.

We might go for 1 day, possibly Sunday.

Steve

M62 J22? Wasn't me. Could have have gone to Capesthorne Hall but after playing last night I lost oil pressure which turned my fuel pump off and left me stranded on the road from Denshaw to Huddersfield! Any suggestions on the cause of loosing oil pressure? I'm lost on this one!

It is the Andrew Greenwood event - I was going to let weather decide the best day to go - though if others are going that may sway my decision.

PS - also have some Guiness in my boot I never got around to giving you as a thank you for helping me get the brakes sorted. PM me if you are going Sunday and I will bring along.

Oops - lost pressure or fluid? Fluid is easy; check for leaks - pressure ? One for the technical forum I'm afraid, I'm not the best when it comes to engine bits. PM me if you get going by Sunday or Monday - A34 to Capesthorn is a nice run.

Could be the oil pump drive shaft broken, not the easiest of things to check, but if you remove the distributor and spin the shaft (if it is still there) it will spin really easily if it has broken and no longer driving the oil pump. Which oil pump have you got fitted the high volume one of the standard one.
