Do you know something the rest of us don't Toddy, is the price of petrol going up, or going to be a shortage due to some impeding war only you know aboutOr maybe you need the gerry cans full with you in the Cob as reserve for that Chevy engine in case you run out on a short run

No , No, I look after the rescue boats on Bassenthwaite lake. So I have to keep all the engines fuelled. I can take empties in the cob but the full ones go in the vans !

It's out and about, put 600 miles on it so far. I was going to pop up to the vintage rally at Distington yesterday but by the time we had lunch and sorted the kids out it was past 4. Had a drive past in the Dax and and there was a steady stream of people leaving so carried on to St Bees for a swift half in the sunshine.

Speed bumps haven't been a problem so far, only the one's at Greta bodyworks, which we got over with a couple of lengths of 6x2 . Even those down by the harbour at Whitehaven can be done with a bit of care. I followed the guy from Forth Engineering in his Ferrari yesterday, thought he was going to ground on them, very close!
