Nice hard-top silver Cobra in Ashton.

Saw a very nice looking Cobra going around the telephone exchange roundabout in Ashton Under Lyne this morning. Nice looking hard-top on it. It looked like it didn't need a modified boot, because the lines down to the rear wings were XJS style flying buttresses with a more vertical rear windscreen joining the body just behind the seats.
Y registered, but having had my Saab cloned back in March, I won't declare the whole registration number here.

That`ll be an AC CRS or mkIV with their hardtop...only £3800 ! Did it look like this?

God the AC Cars official site looks cheap & nasty now!

Yes, it did look very much like that, only I don't think it had the maroon stripes. Nice hard-top, but £3,800?!? Wow.

Its a AC mkIV CRS with a GRP le mans style hard-top modified by a mate of mine, the car is used daily all year round.
