Le Mans - Was it you ?

Saw a number of superb Cobras at Le Mans last weekend!

Several GD's, AK's, DAX's, Cheetah, Southern Roadcraft. Oh and a fine example of a Crendon CR427 (must have been twenty in all) Did I forget any??

Was it you??? C'mon own up now!!

It was the Blue one with stripes!!

I know there was a Black/Purple one there that had a complete rebuild by it's own pit crew!!

Got all the way back and the went from 4th to 3rd on the A38 while accelerating - That shook me up i can tell you !!

Hi all,
Unfortunately I could not go... But my parents did. They meet some of you guys. Think one was David (not sure)... They told me that you were great and environment was fantastic. They were delighted with all the cobras and GT40 replicas.. I have some pictures from the camp (with some of you) and from a cobra with license plate GOF…. With problems and some one under it .. If that is the car you are talking about I can sell it (the photo) by a nice price.. 
Next year will be there and if possible with mine (KCC), if I have the papers by the time.. 

I was there !!

Great time had by (almost) all !!

Lost my brake lights on the way over, thanks guys for not driving into me.

Lost my flip flops (essential shower equipment at Le Mans) pushing a Crendon.
Ooops, sorry did I say CRENDON !!!!
Mind you, the car was great, just let down by poor engine choice.

Lost all accumulated brownie points during the Pink Handbag blessing.

Lost a knife and fork.

Lost about 2000 miles worth of rear tyre tread.

Lost countless gallons of petrol (where does it all go?).

Lost about a litre of water but no oil at all.

Lost about a stone after eating Martin and Chris' jollop.

Lost our ferry ticket for the return trip.

It was good to meet all the CRC people there, but an big thanks has to go to Miket for the time and effort he put in before the trip. Also thanks to the guys that had been before for all the advice and info during our stay.
