Same as rest - Got up and intended to go to Blackbushe - couldn't get out of our lane due a neighbour not used to snow had blocked the road. Spent some time helping him recover his car out of a bush.
My " tintop" all prepared for the trip but not so much the snow more the grit and salt laid down put me off.
I am really up for such an area meet - Blackbushe would seem ideal as a new venue and I have had interest of other friends in other clubs to determine if its a good venue. Do we know how many cars the Cafe can handle at any one time ?
Coming weekend 12/13 is good, next weekend 19/20 I am in J'burg following up and working on my coupe back for the weekend after that.
Keep me advised and just so i do not miss it would appreciate a PM to make sure I get the message !!

Hi Chris, the weather forecast for this weekend is heavy rain so I need people to let me know if they are planning to go to Stoneleigh on Sunday 5th May, if so maybe we should hold the 1st meet on the 27th April ?

I'm planning to go to Stoneleigh and will be at Detling both days this weekend, so 27 April is looking good to me?

As mentioned I am away - but am back in time for 27th April, so that suits me fine.
Hopefully by then I'll have an update and maybe good set of pics of my car.

Have a good time you lot, I wont be there as my son's footy team is in the Cup Final and being coach and manager I should be there, very proud of the boys.

We should get a mid week thing going somewhere now it's getting light. I keep looking for more and more reasons to get out mid week for a run.

The Phoenix pub in Hartley Wintney on the A30 has bike and car nights. Went to the Hot Rod one end of last year, no good. We could invade the Classic Car night down there?
