Surrey/Middx/SWLondon Meet

Guy's n Girl's,seeing as the weather forecast is now OK this Sunday I thought we could meet at Blackbushe Airport again for an hour & then as discussed last month cruise off somewhere!!!

Shall we go to the seaside or save the coastal runs for when the weather is really good & maybe just go 20-30 miles, has anyone got a good route to a destination ? I was thinking we could go A321 to Henley on Thames & find a nice pub on the water.

Let me know what you think, Tony.

Just a suggestion but a drive down to the Guildford cruise could be good. Its about 20 miles from Blackbushe) Lots of strange cars there and if we're lucky a look at the very classy Night-Rider replica. (Sorry ladies, "the Hoff" won't be there)

Might need to meet later though as the Guildford thing doesn't start until 4ish I think.

Just a thought and feel free to poo-poo it if there's a better idea.

G.

Sounds good Graham, might even tempt Craggle to get his car out of the living room

I'm up for anything, it's the company that will make the day

Could do a route round Leith Hill and Box Hill ending up in Guildford, plenty of nice country pubs on the way, especially the Abinger Hatch in Abinger Common

Someone mention my name?

I am set for a Guildford run on Sunday and my friend, Andy has his 32 coupe up and running again.

If you do decide to come out this way then I may just meet you somewhere on the way. I live about 10 minutes from the Abinger Hatch

Craig.

Although I live about 10 minutes away I have never been there!

I also work about 10 minutes away from it in Holmbury so could cruise round there after work tomorrow if you want me to check the place out.

May be quite busy on Sunday though especially if it's a nice day. I was going to suggest my local in Forest Green but you won't get near the place on a Sunday afternoon.

Craig.

Abinger Hatch has a fair car park out the front, but as Craig says, if it's a nice day it is VERY popular as the food is very good. There is also the big car park at the foot of Box Hill, has lots of nice quick road bikes and bikers, that would be interesting too?

I'm sure we'll work out something on the day, I'll ask about re pubs and car parks.

If the weathers fine I may see you in Guildford then.

I spent the evening polishing the rocker covers, Need to show them off now!
