NEW THAMES VALLEY MEET VENUE

Hi all, following my last post on this forum I can confirm the new location temporary venue for the Thames Valley Area is The Barn, Pantiles, London Road A30,Bagshot Surrey GU19 5HN. The first meet will be 12 noon Sunday 18/02/2007.

I was hoping to post a map but this facility does not seem to be available right now on this forum
Best regards OSGOOD

Blimey thats only 1/2 a mile from where I live.....Pitty my car won't be in one piece.

Two things about Pantiles:-

1. Its full of "questionable types" every Wednesday night! (sorry if I've ofended anyone!)

2. Douglas Bader ment his wife at Pantiles! (I think that they also filmed some of "Reach for the Sky" there).

Regards,

Pete

Pantiles is a night club Eric so no wonder Tony found it

Don't drink too much while you are there - Bader was legless.

Hi Guys, had a couple of moans all ready re the location but as I say its only for starters and may not suit you all at the end of the day. Tony made all the inquiries and there does not seem to be a problem meeting there once a month. Tony would have preferred Wednesdays I think re all the questionable folk

As we have always taken in parts of Middx, Bucks, Berk's, Surrey & Oxon in to the Thames Valley Area, also its on the main drag A30 with easy access from M25, M4,M40, M3 etc it seemed like a reasonable spot to re-group for starters.

Nothing is fixed, having checked it out next Sunday and it does not suit everybody we are open to suggestions for another venue before we make it official in Snake Torque and as I say we need a fearless leader.

Regards Osgood.
