Wessex Meet Tomorrow

Just a reminder that we’re joining the Wessex folk at their meet tomorrow (Sun 11th March). The venue is The Horton Inn, on the B3078 near Horton. Postcode is BH21 5AD - map here:

It’s on the crossroads.

The car park is apparently in need of some remedial work - so be warned in advance of the craters. Even tintops bottom out in places. There are two entrances and the one nearest the cross roads is marginally the better of the two.

If you want to travel in the convoy, it’s starting off from Chieveley Services (M4 J13) at around 10:30. I’ll be by the side of the petrol station.

The weather’s looking good so far …..

Good run out Alan just what the Doctor ordered was rather suprised though so many moanes and bleating in the past re the Thames Valley not doing a lot and only three of us turned up for the trip

Seriously though, I've had quite a few emails from people checking it is the 25th and saying they're planning to come along. Let's hope the weather is as good as it has been for the last couple of days.

A total of 13 Cobs turned up on Sunday (10 Wessex, 3 TV) - it would be great to exceed that on the 25th!

I dropped mine into GRL Motors in Woking today. I gave up trying to tweak the settings for the new carb myself, as I was getting complaints from the neighbours yesterday. So it's now in Ian Smith's capable hands.

Just had word the guy in the flying jacket is a left over extra from a 007 film now living in a tent on Ivoir Common near Pinwood Studio's
