Thames Valley Stoneleigh Convoy - Sunday 6th May

I propose that the Thames Valley convoy assembles at the Cherwell Valley services (M40 J10) on Sunday at 10:45 for an 11:00 departure. Map here: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.sr...=newsearch.srf. That should get us to Stoneleigh for around 11:40/11:45.

Anyone south of Oxford travelling up the A34 is welcome to join me at the services off the Milton interchange - map here: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.sr...=newsearch.srf. I'll be here at 10:00, aiming to set off for the Cherwell Valley services at 10:20.

Hopefully this great weather will continue until next weekend. If it's wet, I'll be in my tin-top (a silver Ford Galaxy) - but let's think positive!

To get some idea of numbers, could those of you planning to join the convoy at either location please post a reply?

I'll meet you at Jn10 at 1045, either thumbing a lift if possible, or in my Spitfire, or in my tin top, depending if I'm allowed off nappy changing duties that day or it's heaving with rain!

Great idea that Russ - I'll get there at 09:40 and order a McMuffin! So let's make it the McDonalds car park - turn right into the services, up to the top and turn right into McDonalds. Mind you, I'm waiting for my son to confirm whether he's going to join me in the Cob, and he's notoriously bad at getting up in the morning .....

I'll tell him I'm leaving my place at 08:30 - that ought to do it.
