May Meet / Aston Clinton Rally

Just a wee reminder for you all. The plan is to meet at The Swan at the usual time of 12:00, then to head off to Aston Clinton at around 13:00 for the Chiltern Hills Vintage Vehicle Rally. Weather permitting of course - it's got to stop raining soon!

My plan is to take the scenic route - through Reading (OK, that's not particularly scenic ), pick up the B481 in Caversham then the B4009 to Lewknor all the way to Aston Clinton - nice roads. If they're dry, that is - iffy if it's wet!

That route is around 40 miles and 55-60 mins.

Alternatively, people are of course free to drive straight to Aston Clinton (on the A41 between Aylesbury and Tring).

Could those planning to meet up at The Swan first post a reply so I can contact you if the weather's crap?!!

Steve,

I take it all back about your holidays. If it's got to the stage where I feature in your dreams, you definitely need another one mate

As for the indicators - where's your sense of adventure man?

Anyway, it was indeed a great day. I just wish I'd thought to take a picture of my car being examined by the local Cobra celebrity, John Kerr. You can never have too much bling on a Cobra you know .....
